Let’s not digress.

I can still remember clearly the day when we stepped out of a prayer meet half a year ago, we went with a heart desire to see a police care group established. We termed it ‘PCG’ and made the whiteboard our drawing block, filling it with a list of things that we want to see come to pass.

Today many people ask me, how is the ministry coming along? I have very few reasons to celebrate. The to-do list has yet to be struck. Joshua 18:3 is a reminder that another second passed is another second toooo long.

Joshua 18:2-3
But there were still seven Israelite tribes who had not yet received their inheritance. So Joshua said to the Israelites: “How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?..”

Dear reader, if it pleases you as it does for God, do keep our team in prayer.

  • We believe that a God-ordained vision matures and becomes a moral imperative. Pray that it will remain so in our hearts.
  • We want to break out of our comfort zones and be crazy for the big things and little things that please God. Pray that we’ll overcome fear and be courageous in outreach and discipleship.
  • We believe that the end of a God-ordained vision is God. Pray that we’ll see God’s face behind every fruit and harvest.
  • We want to become a testimony of God’s providence and His hand in the whole scheme of things. Pray that His name be glorified.
  • We believe that a God-ordained vision is one that leaves a strong lasting legacy! Pray that we’ll build our ministry not only for ourselves but for generations of man in the police community to come.
  • Invest in lives, influence camps, impact the world, that is our vision.

And interestingly, God’s deliverance almost always comes after a hearty declaration of thanksgiving.

Jonah 2:9-10
“…But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the LORD.”
And the LORD commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

Like Jonah, I acknowledge that God is the way to Himself.

Like Jonah, what I have vowed I will make good :)
